Review
Xilisoft YouTube to iPod Converter is an interesting new application that lets you download videos from youtube.com and convert them to the MP4 iPod supported format in one step.
It can be used to download FLV files from youtube.com and keep them in your PC (those files can be played with an included flv/mp4 player), you can also use it to download and convert FLV files to MP4 in one step, or to convert FLV files that are already on your hard drive.
It offers multithreading, batch conversion, supports multiple tasks, task management, and downloads with resuming capability. Multiple languages that include english, japanese, chinese, and german are supported.
It can be run on Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/2003/XP and Windows Vista, and supports the following output formats: FLV - Flash Video Format (*.flv) and
iPod (320×240) MPEG-4 Normal (*.mp4).
I found it really easy to use, and if like me you enjoy watching videos in youtube and would like to download your favorite ones and take them with you, this will be a really good option. This trial is fully featured but only lasts 14 days. |
